  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, shredded
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat with green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and sriracha (if using) until cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  2. In the same skillet, heat avocado oil and add shredded Brussels sprouts. Season with salt and pepper; cook for about 5-7 minutes until soft and golden brown.
  3. Return the browned beef to the skillet and mix in sweet chili sauce and lime juice. Stir well until heated through.
  4. Serve hot on its own or over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
