  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce (substitute with mushroom sauce)
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup beef stock or water
  • 250g egg noodles
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the egg noodles in boiling water until tender; drain and set aside.
  3. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix until sugar dissolves.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat; sear the marinated beef until browned.
  5. Stir-fry minced garlic, grated ginger, and broccoli until bright green yet crisp.
  6. Add the beef back into the wok along with the sauce; combine thoroughly.
  7. Toss in cooked noodles and stir-fry until heated through.
