Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 can (8 count) Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray an 8×4 or 9×5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, ¼ cup granulated sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and egg until smooth.
  3. Slice each biscuit in half horizontally and mix the remaining granulated sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Coat each biscuit slice with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and layer them with the pumpkin mixture in the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30–40 minutes, until golden brown. If browning too quickly, cover with foil and reduce temperature to 325°F.
  6. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, cinnamon, and heavy cream/milk until smooth.
  7. Drizzle glaze over the cooled loaf before serving.
