Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken: In a bowl, mix chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken with this mixture and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Sear chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Let rest before slicing.
  3. Prepare garlic sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant; add heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Cook ramen: Boil water in a pot, cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  5. Make broth: In another pot, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic until aromatic. Add chicken broth and soy sauce along with heavy cream; simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Assemble: Divide ramen into bowls; pour spicy broth over noodles and top with sliced chicken and creamy garlic sauce.
  7. Garnish: Sprinkle chopped green onions on top and drizzle with chili oil if desired.
