  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 large bell peppers (green, red, or a mix), diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onions and bell peppers for about 5-6 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (7-8 minutes).
  4. Stir in vinegar to enhance flavors.
  5. Lower heat and incorporate cream cheese until fully melted and creamy.
  6. Transfer mixture to the baking dish, layer with provolone cheese followed by shredded mozzarella.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
