  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup crispy cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic. Stir in crumbled turkey bacon and marinara sauce; let simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. For the béchamel, melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour; gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Mix in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer meat sauce, lasagna noodles, béchamel sauce, and cheeses in a baking dish until ingredients are used up. Finish with cheese on top.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown. Let rest for at least 10 minutes before serving.
