  • 12 oz sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Season steak with salt and pepper; sear for 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add minced garlic and honey to the skillet; stir until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in soy sauce and red pepper flakes; simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Slice the steak into thin strips. Toss cooked pasta in the skillet with the sauce until well-coated, then add sliced steak.
  5. Serve garnished with freshly chopped parsley or basil.
